The adhesive tape is a plastic tape or paper to which is applied an adhesive substance. The tape can be adhesive on one side only or from both (double-sided tape), in the second case one of the two faces of the tape is often protected by a plastic film.
The adhesive tape is used to paste objects between them mostly temporarily but also permanently. The adhesion takes place by simple contact with the object.
The various types of adhesive tape for packing or closing boxes will differentiate between them for the support (PVC or PPL) and for the type of glue. The most sticky glue, suitable for all types of material (paper, plastic, glass ...) Non-slip rubber is natural. The other types of glue are acrylic glue, suitable for applications in which the glue must take even for many years, and the hot melt glue, suitable for the automatic taping machines.
The adhesive tapes most suitable for use with a stendinastro, generally in the classical measure of 5 cm to 66 meters are:
Tape polypropylene "PP" with glue made of natural rubber is the cheapest kind, it is noisy at unwinding, should be cut with a knife or stendinastro.
Adhesive tape polyvinyl chloride "PVC" with glue in natural rubber, the more often the PPL and very stiff, it is more expensive, it is silent at the unrolling, can be broken more easily, even with hands without using a blade.
